4 Job Titles

Animator:

The game animators are in charge of creating the characters, and sometimes plants and objects, move in a realistic manner. The animators have o work closely to the programmers and artists to make sure they get the best result. In order to do this, the have to cater to hardware limits of the platform they are going to release the game on. If they apply to many key frames or too many characters then it can lower the frames per second (FPS) and it won't look as good.

Level Editor:

These people are responsible for make an interactive area for the players to explore. They are the ones to follow what the game design has laid out and build a visual model of it. They will also be the ones to create the obstacles and challenges that the players have to over come like traps and places to hide. Firstly, they would have to sketch a 2D representation of the level and take into account every possible way the players could play. It is then modeled in 3D to be tested by the producer and perfected.

Audio Engineer:

In this job, you are tasked with making all of the music, sound effects and ambient sounds within the game., This would include a soundtrack, gunshots, explosions, dialogue, and background sounds like rain or a distant chatter. An audio engineer would usually work in teams of 2 to create the sounds described to them by the game company. This means they would have to record and edit hundreds of sounds as well as work with actors.

Creative Director:

The creative director with very important as they see over all the major decisions that would effect the gameplay. It is a some-what new role that focuses on make sure the quality and feel of the game is up to spec as well as creating the original design , concept and characters of the game. They also have to deal with any issues stemming from new releases and big changes to the games appearance.
